Find LGBTQ+ Meetings

SAA is open to members of all gender identities and sexual orientations. For those who would like to connect with meetings commonly attended by members of the LGBTQ+ community, there are several ways to find support.

Options for Attending LGBTQ+ Meetings:🔍 Use the SAA Meeting Search tool, which now includes an LGBT filter option under “Focus.”

📞 Join online and telemeetings, held throughout the week and open to members everywhere (choose “Online” or “Telemeeting” under “Meeting Type” on the meeting search).

🤝 Contact your local group or intergroup representative for additional meeting information.

📢 Share updates if you learn of new meetings explicitly welcoming of gender or sexual minorities, so our meeting database can be updated.

Find LGBTQ+ Sponsor

Finding a sponsor who understands your experience can be an important part of recovery. The ISO LGBT Outreach Subcommittee helps connect members with sponsors and other supportive resources. If you are seeking an LGBTQ+ sponsor or program support, you can reach out directly for assistance.

LGBTQ+ Community Service Opportunities

Service is an important part of recovery and a way to connect with others in the LGBTQ+ SAA community. Whether through outreach, events, or fellowship, there are many opportunities to get involved and give back.
