Meeting Type

  • An in-person meeting (formerly called "face-to-face" or "local" meeting), is a meeting that meets at a physical location ONLY. It does not meet online or by phone.
  • A hybrid meeting is a meeting that meets locally in a physical location but also has a virtual option for members who cannot attend physically. Hybrid meetings are under the meeting type, "Hybrid," and appear in the meeting search when "Online" and "In Person" meetings are selected. Virtual information will be given alongside physical information.
  • A geographic-based meeting is a meeting that meets online (or by phone) but is associated with a physical location. Geographic-based meetings are under the meeting type, "Geographic-based," and appear in the meeting search when "Online" and "In Person" meetings are selected.
  • An online meeting has no physical presence or affiliation with physical meetings. These meetings require internet access, and typically meet via video platforms like Zoom or Google Meets, or text-based platforms like Reddit, WhatsApp, or IRC. Do not choose this option if your meeting is meets primarily using telephone lines.
  • A telemeeting is a meeting that uses traditional telephone lines. They involve calling into a group number and entering an access code. They are typically audio-only.

  • Open to Visitors:
    This indicates a meeting that is open to anyone interested in learning about SAA, whether or not they have a problem with sex addiction. Family members, spouses, significant others, and visitors may attend.
  • Those seeking help:
    This indicates that the meeting admits only persons who desire to stop addictive sexual behavior (addicts only).

We cannot guarantee that your information remains private once it is on the web.
